Bamboo Support Body Pillow | Osteopathic Pillow | Pregnancy Pillow Bamboo | Body Pillow Bamboo
What is a pregnancy pillow?
A pregnancy pillow is used to support your belly when you sleep on your side, thus preventing annoying back pain. Moreover, the sideways position is recommended during pregnancy due to good blood flow to the uterus. Research even shows that sleeping on your side reduces the chance of stillbirth due to this improved blood flow.
The different pregnancy pillows can also be used as back support or between the knees, which helps with lower back pain. If you suffer from heartburn, you can use pregnancy pillows to elevate your upper body and reduce symptoms.
With the elongated pregnancy pillow, you can support your body by wrapping the pillow around you. An elongated pregnancy pillow is therefore the best purchase.
Is a pregnancy pillow useful?
Most (expectant) mothers appreciate the extra support. You can, of course, also use a regular pillow to support your belly or place it between your knees. The great advantage of a pregnancy pillow is that it stays in place better in bed, thus providing the necessary support throughout the night's rest.
A pregnancy involves various treatments and exercises. An osteopathic treatment focuses on relieving or eliminating physical complaints such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, or abdominal pain, allowing you to feel optimally healthy again. It also helps stabilize the pelvis. This pillow assists you in this and supports this treatment. That is why this pillow also functions as an osteopathic pillow.

Snuggling up to a pregnancy pillow can make all the difference in sleeping better during pregnancy.
Unfortunately for back and stomach sleepers, side sleeping is best during pregnancy. Sleeping on your stomach is out of the question for obvious reasons. Sleeping on a "kicking beach ball" is not exactly relaxing. But sleeping on your back is also not recommended because it can compress important veins that carry blood to your baby.
That means side sleeping is the only option when you are further along in pregnancy, but your growing bump will also put more pressure on your hips and back – and that's where a pregnancy pillow comes in handy. These pillows provide support in different places on your body: some on your back, others on your knees, still others only on your belly, and yet others in all these places. With such a pregnancy pillow, you can go to bed more comfortably in the evening and prevent pain in the morning.
